Ceci étant fait vous avez peut-être remarqué que le titre de ce billet est en anglais. Ca sonne mieux que " Le Masque Mortuaire du Dieu-Roi", non ? Bref, tout ceci pour dire que j'ai trouvé le titre de ma campagne Pulp pour laquelle je commence à avoir quelques idées. Il devrait y avoir des hatchet-men Tong, des occultistes nazis, un baron fou et ses mongols, des vers géants de Mongolie, un culte d'adorateurs de La Chose qui rodait dans les Ténèbres, etc... Je pense avoir trouvé la règle qui me convient pour des parties à mi-chemin entre le jeu de rôle et le jeu de figurines. Dans mon dernier billet, je vous présentais "The Savage Worlds : The Explorer Edition". J'ai depuis lu "Thrilling Tales", le supplément Pulp pour cette règle et "Daring Tales of Adventure : Compendium 2", qui regroupe 4 scénarii d'une campagne pour personnages pré-tirés. Je compte mélanger tout ce bon miam avec les règles de combat Showdown ( disponibles en libre téléchargement ici ), pour emmener mes joueurs dans l'univers des Two-Fisted-Heroes!


That done, you've perhaps noticed that this post's title is in english. I was thinkingthat its french translation " Le masque mortuaire du Roi-Dieu" doesn't sound half as good, no ? To make things short, I've found my Pulp campaign title and begin to get some ideas. Should be Tong hatchet-men, nazi occultists, a mad Baron and his Mongol followers, some giant worms of Mongolia, a worshippers cult of "The Thing which Lurked in Darkness", etc... I think I've found a rule which suits my needs, halfway between roleplaying and miniatures gaming. In my last post, I showed you " The Savage Worlds: The Explorer Edition". Since I've read "Thrilling Tales" the pulp add-on for this ruleset and "Daring Tales of Adventure: Compendium 2" which sums 4 scenarii of a campaign for pre-generated characters. I plan to mix all this tasty food with Showdown combat rules (free downloadable here ) to bring my players in the Two-Fisted-Heroes universe !

Du coup j'ai entamé la peinture d'une nouvelle série de figurines.

Pour terminer, une petite question. Je pense à l'avenir faire des billets plus courts, dans le genre de celui-ci, mais plus fréquents. Qu'en pensez-vous ?


A question to finish. I think of making shorter posts in the future, like this one, but more often. What's your mind on it ?
